Noelle, an artist born and based in San Diego, draws inspiration from nature, culture, and community life. Her work, spanning photography and painting, is deeply rooted in a desire to unveil profound truths within the ordinary. Through each image and brushstroke, she seeks to hold space for reflection, healing, and collective liberation.
Noelle first fell in love with photography in 2018 during a transformative trip to Japan a moment that shifted the way she saw light, connection, and everyday beauty. While she continued to explore her creative voice over the following years, it wasn’t until 2024 that she began to pursue photography professionally. Travels to Australia introduced her to a global community of artists, which gave her the courage and clarity to fully embrace a life in the arts.
In 2024, she debuted her first photo-based exhibition, The Feast —an immersive exploration of food, identity, and cultural memory within San Diego county. Now, her practice continues to evolve at the intersection of visual storytelling and community care. Whether documenting intimate portraits or curating collaborative installations, Noelle’s work invites viewers to reconsider their relationship to place, nourishment, and each other.
She is also the founder of a nonprofit, Liberation Through Art dedicated to fostering creative expression and mental wellness in marginalized communities. Through this work, she remains committed to using art as a vehicle for connection, truth-telling, and transformation.
